Big Dog Entertainment has only the latest high tech professional sound and lighting equipment.
Our professional grade speakers offer a crystal clear sound capable of handling over 10,000 watts of power for our large outdoor events and larger shows yet still comfortable with as little as 1000 watts for the smaller and more intimate venues.
We use the latest in DJ technology to arrange, catalog and play music. The majority of our music lives on our computer so it's easily searchable and played virtually on demand. This also allows us to easily modify tempo etc to make songs that "out of the box" might be a bit too slow or fast fit right into the groove without it sounding like the "Chipmunks". Another advantage to you is the time one would spend hunting, loading and cueing the next song can now be spent interacting with your guests, taking requests, making sure the lights are just right for the song plus setting up the most appropriate songs instead of the 1st one came across because we were tied up between songs. We do carry CD's as a backup though just in case ;)
Our lighting consists of the latest in state of the art equipment. Our systems are designed using a combination of high tech effect lighting plus DMX intelligent lighting. What this means is the mood can be set, colors changed at the push of a button, rotating heads and mirrors directing light across the floor covering an entire room to the beat of the music or on command. Our light show is professional grade and comparable to many concerts and videos you might see on TV. Our lighting is by far the some of the best available in the entire NW Arkansas area. When you book your event with Big Dog Entertainment, you can be assured you are getting the very best in professional mobile entertainment equipment!
In addition to the sound and lights, we pride ourselves on our extensive collection of music ranging from the Big Band era all the way to today's Billboard Top 40 with "Thousands" in between (see our Wedding Hot List). Plus our Karaoke system for those that like to get up on stage and open their pipes! Something else that's important when it comes to our music collection is our censorship policies. We try our best to abide by "Radio Edit" standards. Meaning that if it's not appropriate to play on the radio then you won't hear it from us. Because many of our events have people of all ages in attendance, we're very conscious of what our audiences will hear.
We also offer for those having an outdoor ceremony a portable PA system for amplification of the vows, background and processional music etc. This has proven to be a necessary add-on service for many of our outdoor wedding clients!
Here are some of our lighting samples: (Note: Due to power availability (Amps) at the venue and type of show. There are times we cannot use all of the listed lights and have to limit them to a design that will impress yet not impair the performance (i.e. - the infamous Blackout effect). Also note, the lighting in these videos are enhanced w/ smoke & haze. These fluids are prohibited in many locations due to their alarm systems.
